The Star Card
Today’s card is the Star card, the first of the three celestial luminaries, being the Star, Moon and Sun cards.
The Star begins a beautiful transition of healing and recovery as it proceeds the challenges of the Tower.
Each of the proceeding steps are crucial, but for now, you need to focus upon today’s energy, but you can expect more movement to come, for you’re going through a necessary transition of healing and transformation.
While the Star card is always portrayed as a positive card, and it is. It may not feel that wonderful at present, as you may feel pain, tender and bruised. In many ways, you’re still going through the aftermath of the Tower.
It’s like having a medical procedure, while the operation may have been satisfactorily completed, the pain can often be more challenging after the intervention than the event. There is a time in recovery when we need to heal, this is the start of those times. The time to pull back, allow yourself to surrender into the healing arms of the starlight, a time to let go and allow the healing to begin.
We can never avoid challenges in life, terrible things happen, we can experience extraordinary levels of suffering and pain. At times we can become so challenged that we begin to wonder what’s the point. We can walk through the darkest times, feel the ground under our feet slip away, don’t know where to turn or find a way through.
But here is the simple message that the Star card brings to you today. Lift up your weary head, look up at the sky, for there is a beautiful star in the darkness, let that gentle light guide you. Take the sacred hand of the star mother, follow her, for you are experiencing the start of a beautiful journey. It’s time to step back, allow yourself to rest, take comfort in the peace and tranquillity, for the start of your healing and recovery has begun.
