The Hermit Card
The astrological glyph of the sun is illustrated by a small circle with a dot placed in the centre, a symbol of the self, consciousness and light. It is this light that your message will focus upon today. The infinite source of knowledge and wisdom, that Well of truth and awareness that dwells deep within the core of us all. This is the light that radiates from the great Goddess, the star of Isis, the light that surrounds the angels and speaks to the elders.
The Hermit is the archetype of the proverbial sage, the wise one, the spiritual figure that lives on the fringes of society, always connected to their higher self, ready to offer insight and advice and holds understanding beyond their earthly means or experience.
There are lots of doors within the soul, some are tightly shut, others slightly ajar, but there is one door that leads to the most sacred temple within. The place where inspiration is born, dreams are made, a place where snatches of words can be overheard, the source of all truth and understanding, the door that leads to our self-awareness and deeper understanding.
You’re being called to go within, to enter the internal cave and reconnect with your inner light. We are all given a celestial key at birth, this is the key of enlightenment. The lessons, experiences and insight we gain upon our journey will take us ever closer to that mystical door. None of us are permitted to go through, as we must make our way in the darkness, follow or own path and guidance. Some of us will get closer, catch sight of its power, the truth that lies beyond, but only at our death are we permitted to go through. Your journey is to find your inner truth, free yourself from the darkness, walk with the angels and follow your truth and light! Go within, feel your light and know you are walking a path of self-discovery, enlightenment and truth.
“Recognize the light within you. That is the goodness. The unconditional love. The one that has protected you. Guided you to your highest calling. It is the stars in heaven, that remind us we are never alone. The night can never be so black, for every twinkle in the sky be that eye of the eternal blessing and for every beam off the moon tells you how soon the sun is off the horizon.”
