“You must make a decision that you are going to move on. It wont happen automatically. You will have to rise up and say, ‘I don’t care how hard this is, I don’t care how disappointed I am, I’m not going to let this get the best of me. I’m moving on with my life.
By Joel Osteen

“Letting go doesn't mean that you don't care about someone anymore. It's just realizing that the only person you really have control over is yourself.”

The Five of Cups

The Five of Cups

Today’s message comes from the challenging Five of Cups. Just look at the sadness in his stance, don’t you just want to reach out and place your arm around his troubled shoulder and whisper in his ear, everything will be fine my friend, just hold in there, there will be brighter days ahead. His heart is heavy, and his mind is full of sorrow and regret, he’s lost his light and way, his future looks dark and bleak.

We’ve all been in the place where the man in the card stands, some of you may be standing beside him right now. Then take a seat, lift up your head my friend and listen carefully. Three cups have tumbled, the contents have spilled, these are the troubles that are challenging you, your pains, sadness and concerns, but look, there are five, the remaining two are still standing. There is still hope, turn around, for within these remaining cups is the light that is needed to guide you out of your darkness, the other is your faith. There is a deeper message in the remaining cups. A reminder of the Two of Cups, the card of love and partnership, it is love that will guide you back into a place of peace.

Take a look, there is a small bridge to his side, this is the passage to a small dwelling. Symbolically a place of your healing and recovery. Reach down, lift up the two remaining cups and take them with you, you need to step away from the issues you can’t change, it’s time to start a new path, a journey that will begin your healing and recovery.

We all have pain and sorrow in our hearts, loss, grief, regrets, worries and sadness. The problems and issues that lay heavy upon our hearts, the pain we’ve never really confronted but tucked away in small pockets deep within our soul. Step onto that bridge, get the help you need to find the support and guidance you need, but more importantly deserve.
