Queen of Wands: The fiery, passionate member of the monarch.

Queen of Wands

Growing up in a small mining village in the deep coalfields of the North-West of England, I was surrounded by women like the Queen of Wands. Strong, fiery and passionate about life and the neighbourhood they run, you did read that right. For it was the women who wore the pants in our community. For if you mess with these lady’s you’ll soon get your fingers burnt!

In their younger years, they would take centre stage, were sexually aware, playful with their assets, full of confidence, flirtatious, always on stage. These were the powerful traits of these elegant resilient lady’s, for they knew they held command, could twist both genders around their seductive fingers and held dominance and strength in high regard.

Of all the Queen’s within the deck, the Queen of Wands is the most psychic, aware of the craft. Skilled in magic, incredibly intuitive and had a natural ability to read minds and foretell events.

These were also the traits of the lady’s in my community too. Exotic in appearance, beautiful inside and out, brilliant at reading the cards and had a natural ability to interpret the tea leaves.

There are times in life when we need to blend into the background, put our heads down and cause little fuss, and there are times when we need to embrace the feisty energy of the fiery Queen of Wands. The need to stand our ground, take control of life, our problems and concerns.

While the women in my village were fun, you knew their limits, would demand respect, fearlessly territorial, but they were always warm-hearted, full of sunshine and light. As with all the Queen’s in the deck, the radiant Queen of fire has lots of water in her chart, so fluid, adaptable and emotionally controlled.

Let the archetype of the magnificent Queen of light guide and inspire you today. Stand in her power, lean on her strengths and embrace her warmth, courage and passion for life.
