Queen of Cups

There are four Queens within the tarot deck, and all have their own unique personalities and traits. I love the court cards within the tarot, as they always bring something fascinating to the table, a unique message that seems to take the reading down interesting avenues, open doors that were previously closed tight.

If you have something to get off your chest, looking for guidance from someone who cares, a sensitive soul, someone with the skills to connect on a deeper, more intuitive level, Then you couldn’t have a more effective counsellor than the watery Queen.

Just look at the lady within this lovely version of the Queen of Cups, you don’t need to be intuitive to see the sensitivity and kindness within her eyes. This is why I’ve included a print of an open eye within a magnifying glass, as she can see beyond your words, read deeper than the expression upon your face. To describe her insight as uncanny would be doing her an injustice, as she is naturally sensitive to spirit, intuitive, the gifted psychic.

If you look closely, you’ll see the word “therapist” upon the surface of the card, so befitting for today’s message.

Like an old donkey carrying a heavy load upon a steep incline, we all carry baggage from the journey of life. Events that are weighing us down, causing us to worry, thoughts that lie heavy upon the heart, guilt, anger, resentments, need I go on.

When the Queen of Cups turns up in a reading, she often brings a warm arm, a loving smile and tight hug, words of reassurance, perspective and support.

As the old saying goes, “A problem shared is a problem halved.” If you need to talk, then there is no better time than today. Find the courage to reach out, for there is plenty of help and support out there. Someone who will listen without judgment, offer support that is sensitive, nurturing and wise. It’s time to find your mentor, your trusted Queen of Cups!
