Eight of Swords
One of the most frustrating experiences we can have is the feeling of being trapped. Whether linked with a strained relationship, career, financial matter, addiction, or any other issue, it’s pretty damn miserable and soul-destroying.
Despite how challenging and impossible things may appear, there is always a positive way forward. Note the word “appear”, for this gives you a clue how things can change, but it will require a little work and patience.
Your mind is the most powerful tool you possess, thoughts are energy, and every thought has the potential to positively or negatively influence your unfolding path. Every action we take started from a sequence of thoughts. Thoughts are like seeds, they scatter intentions upon the path of our future, and the life we lead brings our thoughts to life. Simply, if we believe we’re doomed, little will change and we’re more likely to stay as we are. It’s like casting infertile seeds onto barren land or sailing a boat without a rudder, we lose control of our destiny and can quickly drift into the most difficult places.
While there are thousands of ways to define and explain the mechanism of mental magic, the mind is the engine of this mystical craft. If you can’t imagine, visualise strong images within your mind, how your life will resemble in the future, then it’s like walking within a dark cave without a torch or building a house without a plan, your destined to fail.
As strange and bizarre as it may seem, your freedom must start with a shift in your expectations. Stop saying to yourself things will never change, my life is doomed, or everyone else has more luck than myself, but start to create seeds of positive intentions and cast them into the future with absolute belief and expectation. Your mind is the key that will open the door of your prison, it’s in your hand, manifest the key and free yourself.
